Crushed in black expanded ecological cork grain Expanded, Totally Water-repellent , steam treated and with modified cellular structure , more insulation . Resulting in a very efficient vegetable and ecological product, with good compressibility. Flexible and with very good recovery. Very good thermal and acoustic insulation .

It is manufactured in two sizes: 2-4 mm, 2-9 mm.

This natural insulating granulated cork comes from the manufacture of Black Ecological Agglomerated Cork sheets . It is autoclaved with superheated steam at high pressure and high temperature. With which the resin of the cork itself remains distilled, decreases the specific weight and modifies its cellular structure by expansion. Obtaining a granulated cork shavings in bulk with a highly improved coefficient of thermal conductivity with respect to raw granules, or only boiled.

This manufacturing system means that the final product is perfectly identifiable visually due to its black color and its very peculiar smell of toast, which gradually disappears over time.

It has an approximate density of 68 to 72 kg/m ³ .

Packaged in bags of 250 L and 18,- kg . For an approximate calculation to fill 1,-m ³ 4 bags are needed .
