SUITABLE FOR NAUTICAL AND MARINE USE. WEATHER AND OIL RESISTANT
This composite product consists of select fine granules of natural cork bonded with nitrile synthetic rubber and vulcanized. It is manufactured in cylinders and blocks, which are then laminated into continuous sheets and packaged in rolls and sheets.
Its density is ideal for use on decks and interiors of all types of vessels, resulting in a product that is 2 to 5 times lighter than conventional decking. Its unique natural texture ensures grip, stability, and safety on board, offering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation that reduces energy consumption and contributes to passenger comfort. In addition to being pleasant to walk on in both dry and wet conditions, the cellular structure of the material absorbs footstep noise across its entire surface.
The result is a highly flexible and compressible product with high mechanical performance, resistant to high temperatures, wear, and impacts. It is also antistatic.
Also ideal for use as industrial gaskets requiring resistance and stability to oils and hydrocarbons, inside boats and throughout the engine system. It withstands temperatures from -30°C to a maximum of 110°C and medium pressures.
Available in thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm.
