AGGLOMERATED CORK
NATURAL RAW BL
THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC INSULATING CORK FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INDUSTRY
It is obtained through raw natural cork granulation which is bonded to each other by pressure and temperature continuously with a minimum addition of 2% of binder suitable for food and water use. Obtaining an insulator of medium density, at its optimum point to have the best benefits for thermal and acoustic insulation.
- It is presented in plates of 1000mm x 500mm and the thicknesses go from 20mm to 50mm.
- USE: THERMAL INSULATION. ACOUSTIC CONDITIONING. IMPACT SOUND REDUCER. DILATATION BOARDS. INSULATION FOR MOISTURE. INCLINED AND FLAT COVERS. INSULATION TABLETS.
EXTERIOR WALLS- OF APPLICATION:
- Refrigerating chambers. Public Buildings. Households. Factories. Farms
Characteristics:
- Density: 225-240 kg / m3
- Thermal conductivity: 0,042 Kcal. h mºC
- Resistance to reflection: 1.67 kg / cm2

Cork for Acoustic and Thermal insulation: NATUR CRUDO BL-260
It is a product composed of virgin forest cork that is crushed and agglomerated in plates, which binds together by continuous pressure and temperature with a minimum addition of 2% water-based polyurethane binder (suitable for food use). Which gives no smell.
Due to its density level, it is very suitable to act as an acoustic and vibratory barrier. It has a very rough surface finish on one of the faces, which is very beneficial to achieve an acoustic correction and avoid sound bounces in the premises where it is installed. Excellent thermal insulator. Once installed, if desired, it can always be plastered, coated, varnished or painted (to avoid seeing the joints, it can be covered with a thin mesh of fiberglass veil and apply the finish below), without losing Your benefits Thanks to a high level of density, it is very suitable for floor installation and can perfectly support the weight of any floor.
It is manufactured in plates of 1, - x 0.50, - Mts. Usually 30, - / 40, - / 50, - mm thick.
and on request in 20, - and 60, - mm.
For thicknesses greater than 50, -mm it is advisable to install two or three thicknesses in several layers, placed to break together to avoid thermal leakage, thereby increasing the insulating efficiency. Which does not represent any cost of the material to be installed, since its price is proportional to the thickness.
Being a model of a very rough surface finish, and aesthetically it may not be of your taste, you can coat it with the coatings indicated above or with a decorative cork 3, -mm thick.
USE: - Acoustic and thermal insulation. Impact sound reducer. Expansion joints Insulation for moisture. Sloping and flat roofs. Isolation partitions. Exterior walls. - Medium performance anti-vibration bases. -
Applications: - Cold rooms. Public Buildings. Households. Factories Farms ...
If it had to be installed outside withstanding rain or temporary rainwater immersions, it would have to be protected with a leak-proof waterproofing.
